The Insurance Brokers Association of Ghana has provided a borehole and a large water storage tank to St. Peter’s Senior High School in the Eastern Region, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts to address water challenges on campus.

The project was officially handed over on March 27 by the Association’s President, Stephen Kwarteng Yeboah, during a ceremony held at the school in Kwahu Nkwatia.

The intervention is expected to ease the persistent water shortage faced by students and staff, improving sanitation and overall living conditions within the school.

The presentation formed part of activities marking IBAG’s 11th Annual Conference and Exhibition (ACE), which was held from March 24 to 28 at the Rock City Hotel under the theme “Building Resilience in a Socio-Political Environment.”

The four-day event brought together key stakeholders in the insurance industry, including the Minister for Finance, Cassiel Ato Forson, Acting Commissioner of Insurance, Dr Abiba Zakariah, and keynote speaker Mazi Chijoke Nwafor, alongside industry leaders, CEOs, and representatives of various insurance bodies.
